A new opportunity to join the Air Traffic Control Instructing team has arisen at Cwmbran for an individual to join the Insyte Business Unit, in the role of Air Traffic Controller Instructor. This role would report into the College Principal and would form part of a team of instructors who teach various aspects of the ATC syllabus in conjunction with one another.

As an Air Traffic Controller Instructor your main responsibilities will involve:
Delivering course content according to the ATC UK Civil Aviation Authority’s syllabus
Evaluation of candidates’ practical and theory work against the syllabus content (including marking and providing feedback)
Ensuring that lessons are planned and cover the content of the syllabus

As an Air Traffic Controller Instructor your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
A current UK CAA Air Traffic Controller’s Licence with a minimum of ADI, APP & APS ratings which have been previously validated.
Previous experience of teaching / mentoring / training in an ATC environment
5 years residency in the UK in order to be eligible for Security Clearance. No overseas applications please.
Met Observers Certificate and an OJTI would also be advantageous
