We are currently recruiting for an Air Traffic Control Officer reporting to the Senior Air Traffic Control Officer to assist in the provision of Air Traffic Control Services to meet customer and contractual requirements. This role will be based at RAF Wyton.

The key accountabilities of the job holder will be as follows:

•Provide Air Traffic Control Services as required to meet the needs of the customer and the contract
•Assist in training of ATC staff
•Maintain the integrity of the runway and surrounding areas to ensure safe operations. Carry out runway inspections and report debris and damage, arrange for runway sweeping as required
•Carry out watch keeping duties and maintain an ATC daily Log
•Provide direction to ATCA’s, Ops Clerk, Ground Radio and Fire and Crash staff to maintain safe and efficient airfield operations.

Qualifications and Experience

•ATC CAA licence in ADI (Aerodrome) and APP (Approach), preferably previously validated
•European Class 3 Medical (ATC)
•OJTI, desirable
•Meteorological ticket, desirable
•Experience of working in a military environment, desirable
•Full driving licence
